Mission Statement
Safe Cat Foundation, a California based non-profit 501 (c) 3 corporation, was formed to address the safety issues of domestic cats in our local animal shelters and in our society. We provide education and advocacy for various health and safety issues that affect cats in the home, wild or shelter. Safe Cat Foundation also provides rescue for cats abandoned in the wild or at the shelter through fostering, providing medical care, spay and neuter services and adoption programs.

Jasper is a wonderful, friendly, gentle boy who was owner surrendered to the shelter. He is 10 yrs. old. He has recently been diagnosed with diabetes, and is on medication. He may not need meds forever, but he is on a special diet that is agreeing with him very well. His blood levels are returning to what they should be, and it is fortunate that Safe Cat Foundation was there to get him prompt treatment for his medical needs.
He is easy to care for, just loves to be around people (loves being held - a real lap cat). He is looking for a forever home.
